Homecoming looks to bring rains upon Evanston this year. As even the youngest child knows, NU football is best experienced AND played in the rain. So, it looks promising for the ApostroCats, if conditions hold.
The sloppy field conditions will lead to sloppy play by Drew Stanton and the Spartans. They are not blessed by the cat's natural abilities: reflexes, traction, hairballs.
Although wet, the homecoming crowd will exude good cheer, and the Cats will draw on it. Also, they will draw on running the ball over and through the demoralized MSU defense.
Cats win!
