WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Let me just say that I can't stand listening to important sporting events on the radio. Relying on someone else to explain what's happening is just a killer for me. I love WNUR, don't get me wrong, but I need to see the players. So I was glad to get the CSTV online video working with about 10 minutes left in today's lacrosse game.

Oh, the lacrosse game? Yeah, we kicked complete and total ass in the second half. Unlike Friday's nailbiter against Duke, I could breath for most of the season finale. Well, the last 30 minutes anyway.

Now it's back to ABC to find out how many people have crashed in the Indy 500. When I go to Evanston tomorrow, that clock had better be purple.

Go Cats! Beat everyone!

Totally screwed by the NCAA

Oh yeah, this has me agitated too. The NCAA women's lacrosse championship bracket came out today. First, let us review the season-ending rankings:
  1. Northwestern (16-1)*
  2. Virginia (16-2)
  3. Duke (16-2)
  4. Georgetown (13-3)
* - ranked 1st unanimously

In the tournament: Duke is #1, Virginia #2, Georgetown #3, and NU is #4. What the H? The Cats will host first and second round games, but could meet Duke in a semifinal. In my opinion, NU and Duke should be #1 and 2, and they should only meet in the final.

Boo to you NCAA tournament selection whatever committee!

Why you gotta play me like that, 24?

OK. This is the type of crap that makes me hate myself for being hooked on 24. Bierko never expected to be apprehended at the gas facility, right? But he somehow knows a dude at CTU that drives a personel carrier? And that dude's obviously going to help him escape from custody in about 15 minutes.

Oh well. At least I get another couple episodes with Julian Sands, who is a little bit awesome.
